Pelss scores in OT as Eastern Conference-leading Oil Kings beat Warriors @NHLdotcom

EDMONTON - Kristians Pelss scored 1:02 into overtime as the Edmonton Oil Kings beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Stephane Legault had both regulation goals for Edmonton (45-15-7), which has won six in a row and opened up a seven-point lead over the Warriors atop the Eastern Conference standings.

Dallas Ehrhardt and Tanner Eberle replied for Moose Jaw (41-18-8).

Laurent Brossoit made 24 saves for Edmonton, while Luke Siemens stopped 35 shots for Moose Jaw.
