Pechurskiy stops 25 shots as Tri-City Americans double Vancouver 4-2 @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Tri-City got goals from four different players and Alex Pechurskiy stopped all 25 shots he faced in relief of Drew Owsley to lead the Americans to a 4-2 victory over the Vancouver Giants in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Tyler Schmidt, Sergei Drozd, Justin Feser and Johnny Lazo all scored for Tri-City (36-11-1), which also got two assists from Adam Hughesman.

Tri-City , which leads the U.S. Division and Western Conference, took a four-point lead over Saskatoon in the WHL standings after the Blades lost to Kootenay.

Neil Manning scored twice for Vancouver (29-18-3), while Craig Cunningham stretched his point streak to 10 games with an assist. Mark Segal finished with 22 saves.
