Payerl scores shootout winner as Bulls beat Frontenacs 4-3 @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - Adam Payerl scored the winner in a shootout as the Belleville Bulls defeated the host Kingston Frontenacs 4-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Brady Austin had two goals for the Bulls (34-32-1), who sit eighth in the East, while Daniil Zharkov scored the other.

Billy Jenkins scored twice for the Frontenacs (19-40-8), who have lost eight straight, as David Mazurek added a single goal.

Malcolm Subban stopped 34 shots for the win while Igor Bobkov turned away 31 shots in a losing effort.

Belleville went 1 for 6 on the power play as Kingston failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
