Patrick Killeen makes 33 saves as Battalion defeat IceDogs 5-2

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Patrick Killeen made 33 saves as the Brampton Battalion defeated the Niagara IceDogs 5-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.

Thomas Stajan gave the Battalion (4-2-0-1) the early lead 29 seconds into the game, only to have the IceDogs' Chris DeSousa tie it up just over three minutes later.

Graham McNab restored Brampton's lead on a power-play and Alexander Eriksson put the visitors up 3-1 with a short-handed goal.

Reggie Traccitto gave the 2,018 fans in attendance hope when he narrowed the margin to 3-2 with just over a minute to go.

Brampton's Cody Hodgson scored the only goal of the second period Brampton's Graham McNabb cemented the win with an empty-net goal in the third period.

Andrew Loverock made 41 saves for the IceDogs (6-2-0-0).
