Patrick Kileen gives Battalion shutout at Saginaw, Brampton wins 1-0 @NHLdotcom

SAGINAW, Mich. - Patrick Kileen stopped all 23 shots he faced Thursday night, shutting out the Saginaw Spirit as the Brampton Battalion won 1-0 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Shane Kinsella scored the only goal in the first period with Domenic Alberga and Ian Watters drawing the assist. There were only two minor penalties called in the game both on the Spirit, as Saginaw (22-21-5) went 0 for 2 on the power play.

Brampton (17-21-10) out shot the Spirit 24-23.

Edward Pasquale had 23 saves and played a solid game, but with no offensive support, Saginaw dropped their fifth straight game.
