TAMPA -- Pittsburgh Penguins right wing Patric Hornqvist appeared to sustain a left hand injury after blocking a shot from Tampa Bay Lightning forward Alex Killorn with 7:10 remaining in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final on Wednesday.
Hornqvist immediately dropped his stick and went to the bench in what appeared to be a significant amount of pain. He left for the dressing room after Penguins forward Chris Kunitz scored with 6:48 remaining in Pittsburgh's 4-2 win.

Hornqvist did not return to the game.
"I don't have definitive status on him," Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said. "He did leave the bench. We'll probably know more [Thursday]. I don't have any updates for you at this point."
Hornqvist, who has been playing on the Penguins' top line with Sidney Crosby, had four shots on goal and three blocked shots in Game 3. He has six goals and nine points in 14 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
