Pastrnak returns to practice for Bruins

by NHL.com Staff

David Pastrnak, the Boston Bruins' top pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, took part in practice on Sunday at TD Garden for the first time since injuring his shoulder on the second day of training camp.

Pastrnak was off the ice for four days following the injury. He started skating again last Wednesday.

"He skated with us, but he's not cleared yet for contract or anything like that so we've got to wait for him to be cleared," Bruins coach Claude Julien said following practice.

Ideally, the Bruins would like to see Pastrnak get some game action before the preseason ends.

"I think we'd like to, no doubt; if it's possible, we'd like to see him play," Julien said.
