Pasquale makes 61 saves as Saginaw Spirit upset Windsor Spitfires 7-2 @NHLdotcom

SAGINAW, Mich. - Edward Pasquale stopped 61 shots as the Saginaw Spirit upset the Windsor Spitfires 7-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Josh Shalla tallied twice for Saginaw (26-22-6) and Vincent Trocheck, Barry Sanderson and Anthony Camara had a goal and an assist each. Michael Sgarbossa and Jordan Szwarz completed the scoring for the Spirit. Brad Walch had 3 assist and Cody Sol contributed a pair of helpers.

Eric Wellwood and Justin Shugg scored for Windsor (44-9-5). Greg Nemisz had two assist. Philipp Grubauer started in net and had 6 saves on 11 shots and Troy Passingham finished with 6 saves on 8 shots for Windsor.

Windsor out-shot Saginaw 21-9 in the first period, 18-6 in the second and 24-4 in the final period.
