OTTAWA - Ottawa 67's defenceman Martin Paryzek scored his first two goals of the season Friday while fellow blueliner Derek Hartwick had two assists to help the 67's rout the Mississauga-St. Michael's Majors 6-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night.
Thomas Kiriakou and Jon Carnevale each had a goal and an assist for Ottawa (9-8-0-0) while Stephen Blunden and Cody Lindsay also scored. Chris Perugini made 22 saves as the 67's outshot the Majors 38-24.
Josh McFadden and Cory Bureau both scored for Mississauga (7-6-0-0) while Chris Carrozzi took the loss.
The 67's led 2-0 after the first period and 4-1 after the second. They went 2-8 on the power play while the Majors were 0-1.
