Parlett's three-point effort helps Mississauga squeak past Sudbury 5-3 @NHLdotcom

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Veteran defenceman Blake Parlett scored once and set up two other goals as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors came from behind to squeak out a 5-3 victory over the Sudbury Wolves in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

Devante Smith-Pelly, Riley Brace, Cameron Gaunce and Dustin Ekelman scored for the Majors (32-10-5). Mississauga goalie JP Anderson made 19 saves.

Eric O'Dell, John McFarland and Greg Trichilo provided the offence for Sudbury (20-23-5), while netminder Alain Valiquette stopped 29 shots.

The 20-year-old Parlett scored his eighth goal of the season into an empty net with one second remaining on the clock after setting up goals by Smith-Pelly and Brace a minute apart late in the final frame as the Majors snapped a two-game losing skid.
