SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers
General Manager Jacques Martin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with D Jassen Cullimore
on a one year deal.
"Jassen is a responsible defenseman who stepped in and logged significant minutes for us last season," said Martin. "He is a high character, veteran player who we are confident can help fill the void left in our defense, due to some of the injuries we have encountered this season."
Cullimore, 35, played in 65 games with the Panthers last season and paced the club with a +21 rating, with three goals and 10 assists, while averaging 18:04 of ice time per game. He was originally signed as a free agent by Florida on Oct. 26, 2007.
