SUNRISE, Fla. -- Florida Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr likely will not play Friday against the Boston Bruins at BB&T?Center, but Panthers coach Gerard Gallant stopped short of ruling him out completely.
"I'm not going to say [he's out]?because [Jagr]?might come tonight and want to play. But probably out tonight,"?Gallant said. "I'm not going to say no. But he's very questionable."
Jagr shook his head in a negative manner when asked by reporters if he was playing against the Bruins.
He was on the ice for the start of the morning skate Friday. He left after about 10 minutes but returned shortly thereafter.
Jagr last the Panthers' game Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche during the first period because of a lower-body injury. He did not skate Wednesday but practiced Thursday.
The 43-year-old leads the Panthers with six goals and 10 points.
