Panthers finally get to play

The NHL season enters its fourth day on Sunday, and the Florida Panthers will finally get to lace up their skates and play.

The Panthers become the last of the 30 teams to open their season when they step onto the ice at Rexall Place for an 8 p.m. ET faceoff, one of three games on the schedule. They face a tough assignment -- the Oilers have had two days off since opening their season with a 4-0 victory over Calgary on Thursday night.

The Flames also play at 8 -- they host the Los Angeles Kings, who opened their season on Saturday with a 2-1 shootout win at Vancouver.

The day opens at 10 a.m. ET when the Phoenix Coyotes and Boston Bruins meet in the second game of their Compuware NHL Premiere series in Prague. The Coyotes, the home team for Sunday's game, won 5-2 on Saturday.
