Palushaj and Lawson lead Hamilton Bulldogs over Lake Erie Monsters 1-0 @NHLdotcom

HAMILTON - Aaron Palushaj scored in the second period and Nathan Lawson made 24 saves as the Hamilton Bulldogs skated to a 1-0 victory over the Lake Erie Monsters in the American Hockey League on Saturday.

With Lake Erie's Mike Brennan off for tripping, Palushaj scored his first of the season with a minute left in the period.

Cedrick Desjardins made 29 saves on 30 shots for the Monster (4-9-1), who went 0-for-4 on the power play.

The Bulldogs (5-5-1), were 1-for-4 with the mand advantage.
