Ottawa snaps seven game losing streak with 3-2 win over Saginaw @NHLdotcom

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Ottawa 67's snaped a seven game losing streak, scoring two third period power play goals to beat the Saginaw Spirit 3-2 on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Travis Gibbons tied the game midway through the third period and Cody Lindsay scored the winner for the 67s. Thomas Nesbitt also scored for Ottawa (3-7-3), which managed to salvage a win on the final game of a three-game road trip.

Josh Shalla and Barry Sanderson scored for Saginaw (7-3-1), which saw its four-game winning streak come to and end. Spirit forward Ivan Telegin was kept off the score sheet, putting an end to his nine-game point streak.

Chris Perugini stopped 37 shots for the 67's, while Anthony Peters made 33 saves in a losing cause for Saginaw.
