OTT PHI 2.3 preview

SENATORS (16-24-9) at FLYERS (24-19-8)
1 p.m. ET; NHLN, NBCSP, RDS2, TSN5, NHL.TV

All three losses have been in regulation, the first time that's happened since last season (March 9-13).
The Senators won't have forward Bobby Ryan in the lineup because of a finger injury when they try to win consecutive games for the first time since Jan. 5-6. They ended a six-game losing streak with a 2-1 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday, but Ryan left with 12:13 remaining in the third period. Coach Guy Boucher said Ryan also will miss the game against the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday and is doubtful to play next week as well.

Players to watch

Senators rookie forward Colin White will take Ryan's spot in the lineup. The No. 21 pick of the 2015 NHL Draft has no points and five shots on goal in eight games.
Flyers forward Jakub Voracek has two goals and five assists during a four-game point streak. His 50 assists lead the NHL.

They said it

"He's going to play with (Matt) Duchene and (Mike) Hoffman, get a lot of ice time with good players. He played the way we wanted with them in Toronto (Jan. 20). That was a good line that created for us offensively and played well defensively. It's an opportunity for him and it helps us build." -- Senators coach Guy Boucher on forward Colin White playing on the top line
"We have to be better, whether it's stick in the lane, an angle, disrupting a breakout. We've got to be better all around. When you're where we are at, the bottom of the League, there's more than one little thing that needs to be better. We've got a lot of work to do there." -- Flyers general manager Ron Hextall on their 30th-ranked penalty kill
