New York, which has won seven of its past eight games, is the only team in the NHL without a regulation loss at home (8-0-2). The Islanders have scored at least five goals in seven of their eight home wins.
Ottawa has lost seven in a row (0-6-1) including five straight in regulation. The Senators have been outscored 23-9 during the streak and haven't scored more than two goals in any of those games.

Players to watch

Senators forward Mark Stone has one goal and three assists during a four-game point streak.
Islanders center Mathew Barzal has at least one point in seven consecutive games, the longest-active streak in the NHL (three goals, seven assists). Barzal, 20, ranks second among rookies with 24 points in 24 games.
