Craig Anderson may have a future in curling.

The Ottawa Senators goalie would have made anyone who has ever thrown a stone along a sheet proud after he lost his left skate blade during play against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.
After catching his blade on the left post, Anderson was left little choice but to shove off with his right foot while keeping his left pad on the ice, using it as a de facto vehicle.
Anderson got all the way across the ice and got his skate fixed. But it's always about the journey more than the destination.
