Khudobin replaced Ben Bishop on Monday at the start of the third period against the New York Rangers after Bishop sustained a lower-body injury and was lost for at least one week. On Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Khudobin was replaced by Landon Bow at 8:52 of the second period after allowing five goals on 16 shots.
The Stars have lost two straight games and have scored one goal in four of their past five games.
The Senators have lost the first two games of a four-game road trip and are 2-6-1 in away games. They will play for the first time this season without forward Colin White (upper-body injury), who is second in rookie goals (7) and points (13).
