Chabot-Houston

Thomas Chabot reminded us once again that when your song comes on sometimes you can't help but sing along.

The Ottawa Senators defenseman got caught singing along to Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" while returning to the ice for the second period during their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday. The Senators posted a video of Chabot singing along, spliced in with the music video of Houston's 1987 hit.

"I came out of the locker room, and all I could hear was that song and just started feeling it," Chabot told NHL.com. "I started singing it, but I didn't think any cameras were on me for that one."
Chabot only found out after the game that he'd become a viral sensation, after his friends blew up his phone after seeing the Senators tweet.
"I opened up my phone after the game or the next morning, and I saw that," Chabot said. "I was like 'Oh my God. I got caught.'"
Chabot clearly likes the song, but he isn't quite willing to call himself a Whitney Houston fan. He's actually more into the music of fellow Quebec-native, and
noted hockey fan
, Celine Dion.
"She's great; one of the greatest of all time," Chabot said of Dion. "That kind of music, my parents, I think that's the kind of music they listen to."
