Oshawa uses balanced scoring to take 2-0 series lead over Ottawa @NHLdotcom

OSHAWA, Ont. - Five different Oshawa Generals scored goals in a 5-2 victory over the Ottawa 67's Sunday to take Game Two of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Brett Parnham, Patrick Asselin, Michael Del Zotto, John Tavares and Corey Cowick all scored, while Brett MacLean added four assists as the Generals now own a 2-0 series lead.

Michal Neuvirth made 29 saves for the Generals, but allowed goals to Ottawa's Logan Couture and Tyler Cuma.

Adam Courchaine started in goal for the 67's, but was removed after allowing four goals on 16 shots through two periods. Chris Perugini replaced him and stopped 14-of-15.

Sunday's game was played in front of 4,099 at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa.

The series now shifts to Ottawa for Game Three and Four on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
