Oshawa displays balanced attack in 5-3 victory over Kingston @NHLdotcom

OSHAWA, Ont. - The Oshawa Generals' offence proved that diversity is a good thing, especially when it comes to putting the puck in the net.

Five different players scored goals for the Generals as they defeated the Kingston Frontenacs 5-3 Sunday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

John Tavares scored the winning goal in the first minute of the third period and added two assists to extend his OHL scoring lead with 16 points in seven games.

Tony Dehart, Brett Parnham, Conor Stokes and Calvin de Haan scored the other goals for Oshawa (4-3-0-0), while Corbin Crawford, Josh Brittain and Matt Kang tallied for the Frontenacs (0-4-1-0).

Daryl Borden picked up the win with a 31-save effort, while Anthony Peters stopped 24 shots for Kingston.
