11:45 a.m.: The bus, full of Avalanche staff and players, makes the now normal trip back through Stockholm to the hotel. Everyone has a quick lunch which consists of fish, chicken, salad and pasta. The team then has a few hours before the 8 o'clock game to relax and prepare.
4:45 p.m.:Players and staff start heading over to the arena. The Friday afternoon traffic makes the typically 20-minute bus ride over a half hour. The team heads to the dressing room and gets ready for the contest the same as they would for any other NHL game.
8:10 p.m.:A crowd of 13,396 finishes filing into the Ericsson Globe to watch the first of the two games in the Global Series. The Canadian and American national anthems are sung by Janice, a Stockholm native. Peter Forsberg meets Gabriel Landeskog and Erik Karlsson at center ice as he drops the ceremonial puck and the game begins.
