Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Olli Maatta is out week-to-week with a lower-body injury sustained Thursday against the New Jersey Devils.
Maatta, 21, has six goals and 13 assists in 67 games this season for the Penguins, who entered Friday one point ahead of the New York Islanders for third place in the Metropolitan Division.

The Penguins have nine regular-season games left before the Stanley Cup Playoffs, beginning Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings (2 p.m. ET; SN, ROOT, FS-D, NHL.TV). They had won six straight games before losing 3-0 against the Devils.
