Mattias Janmark
signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.

The 29-year-old forward had 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists) in 67 games for the Vegas Golden Knights last season.
Selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the third round (No. 79) of the 2013 NHL Draft, Janmark has 158 points (66 goals, 92 assists) in 420 regular-season games for the Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars, and 24 points (eight goals, 16 assists) in 61 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

on Wednesday.
Edmonton (49-27-6) finished second in the Pacific Division last season and was swept by the Colorado Avalanche in the best-of-7 Western Conference Final.
