Oilers recall Marincin, send Nurse to OHL

The Edmonton Oilers on Friday announced defenseman Martin Marincin has been recalled from Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League and defenseman Darnell Nurse has been returned to his junior team, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League.

Nurse made his NHL debut Oct. 14 against the Los Angeles Kings. In two games he had two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating while averaging 16:59 of ice time. The 19-year-old, selected by the Oilers with the seventh pick of the 2013 NHL Draft, is No. 18 on the Top 60 prospect ranking.

Marincin, 22, had six assists and a minus-2 rating in 19:09 per game in 44 games with the Oilers last season.

The Oilers also sent forward Steven Pinizzotto to Oklahoma City
