Oilers pick up Jones on waivers @NHLdotcom
The Edmonton Oilers have claimed forward Ryan Jones off waivers from the Nashville Predators. Jones, 25, played 41 games with the Predators this season recording 7 goals and 4 assists. Last year the Chatham, Ontario native appeared in 46 games with Nashville collecting 7 goals and 10 assists.

Jones was selected in the 4th round, 111th overall, by the Minnesota Wild in the 2004 Entry Draft. He played four seasons with Miami University where he scored 90 goals and 57 assists for 147 points in 161 games.
