One team will be wrapping up a long trip and the other will be preparing for one when the Edmonton Oilers
visit the Chicago Blackhawks
in one of four NHL games on Sunday's schedule.
The Oilers come to United Center for the finale of a six-game trip. They are 2-3-0 through five games, including a 3-0 loss at Detroit on Friday. Chicago, coming off a 4-1 home win against Calgary on Friday, hits the road for two weeks after this game on its annual mid-November "Circus Trip."
The game gets under way at 7 p.m. ET.
Sunday's schedule begins two hours earlier when the Florida Panthers
return home to face the Philadelphia Flyers
. Florida has been off since winning 5-2 in Wednesday, the same night the Flyers lost 2-1 in overtime at Tampa Bay.
At 8 p.m. ET, the Anaheim Ducks
try to build on Friday's 4-3 win against Vancouver when they host the Minnesota Wild
. The Canucks, coming off a six-game road trip, are back home for a 9 p.m. ET meeting with the New York Islanders
, who've been off since blowing a 3-0 lead and losing 4-3 in overtime at Colorado on Thursday.
