Oilers call up Hunt from Bakersfield, place rookie Davidson on injured reserve @NHLdotcom

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Brad Hunt from the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors.

The 27-year-old native of Ridge Meadows, B.C., is the Condors' leading scorer this season with six goals and 17 assists in 27 games.

He is expected to play in Sunday night's game at Calgary.

The Oilers also placed defenceman Brandon Davidson on injured reserve.

The rookie had two goals and three assists and was plus-5 over 23 games with Edmonton before suffering a rib injury in the Oilers' 5-1 loss at Colorado on Sunday.
