LAK@EDM, Gm1: Clark sings anthems among fans

Sometimes you just need 18,500 backup singers.

Before Game 1 of the Western Conference First Round against the Los Angeles Kings, Robert Clark, the Edmonton Oilers anthem singer, waded into the crowd to perform the American and Canadian national anthems.
Clark did a stirring rendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner" from the middle of a section of seats at Rogers Place.
After he finished with the first anthem, Clark got started on "O Canada" but only performed the first four bars into the microphone while letting fans take over the remainder of the song.
The professional opera singer was jacked up about Game 1 earlier in the day on social media.

Clark, of course, let the fans in attendance finish out the Canadian anthem, never returning to the mic as orange towels waved vigorously throughout the crowd.
