Adam-Larsson 12-1

Defenseman Adam Larsson was placed on injured reserve by the Edmonton Oilers on Friday because of an upper-body injury.
Larsson did not play in a 6-4 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday because of the injury.

"It shouldn't be long-term, but obviously it is at least a week, retroactive to the last game he played," Oilers coach Todd McLellan said.
Larsson last played in a 3-2 overtime win against the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday. He can return against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.
The Oilers play at the Calgary Flames on Saturday (10 p.m. ET; CBC, SN, NHL.TV).
Larsson, 25, has four points (three goals, one assist) in 25 games this season and is second on the Oilers in ice time per game at 22:52. He leads the NHL with 90 hits and has 52 blocked shots.
Edmonton recalled defenseman Ryan Stanton from Bakersfield of the American Hockey League on Friday. Stanton has one assist in 11 AHL games. He has 27 points (four goals, 23 assists) in 120 NHL games, all but one prior to the 2015-16 season.
