OHL suspends Plymouth coach eight games, Kingston coach gets four

TORONTO - The Ontario Hockey League handed out a pair of suspensions Friday, with Plymouth Whalers coach Greg Stefan receiving eight games and Kingston Frontenacs coach Larry Mavety getting four games.

The two coaches stepped onto the ice following a number of third period fights during the Whalers-Frontenacs game Sunday.

The Whalers were also fined $2,000 for the incident.

Kingston won the game 7-4.
