MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Nathan Bastian had a goal and two assists as the Mississauga Steelheads downed the Hamilton Bulldogs 5-1 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Bastian, Daniel De Sousa and Thomas Lattavo all scored in a three-goal first period for the Steelheads (11-10-2). Ryan McLeod and Alexander Nylander, shorthanded, added the others in the third.
Joseph Mizzi found the back of the net in the second for Hamilton (7-13-1).
Jack Flinn picked up the win in net, making 23 saves. Charlie Graham turned aside 13 shots in the loss.
Mississauga went 0 for 5 on the power play with the Bulldogs also going scoreless on seven opportunities.

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. ? Steven Lorentz was one of four Petes players to have a goal and an assist as they doubled up Ottawa.
Greg Betzold, Jonathan Ang and Hunter Garlent also had similar nights for Peterborough (9-9-4). Eric Cornel and Adam Timleck rounded out the attack.
Dante Salituro struck twice for the 67's (12-8-1), who got another goal from Ben Fanjoy.
