OHL Roundup: Christian Dvorak scores five times as Knights rout Storm 9-2 @NHL

GUELPH, Ont. - Christian Dvorak had no problem finding the back of the net on Friday night.

The Knights forward scored five times and added an assist as London routed the Guelph Storm 9-2 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Linemate Matthew Tkachuk had two goals and four assists while Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Mitch Marner tackled on five assists for the Knights (12-2-2), who won their fourth straight. Chandler Yakimowicz and Cliff Pu rounded out the attack with J.J. Piccinich, another Maple Leafs prospect, adding three assists.

Vladislav Barulin and Tyler Boston scored for Guelph (1-13-1), which lost its 10th in a row.

Tyler Parsons made 24 saves for the win in net. Justin Nichols started for the Storm and turned away 27-of-31 shots in 22:55 before being ejected for spearing. Bradley Van Schubert came on in relief and kicked out 15-of-20 shots.

London went 6 for 10 on the power play with Guelph scoring once on three chances with the man advantage.



ERIE, Pa. ? Alex DeBrincat scored a hat trick and added two assists as the Otters dominated Peterborough.

Dylan Strome had a pair of goals in the first period and added three assists for Erie (13-1-1), which won its fourth straight. Taylor Raddysh added a goal and three assists with Jake Marchment rounding out the attack. Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Travis Dermott tacked on three assists.

Hunter Garlent and Greg Betzold found the back of the net for the Petes (6-8-3).



KINGSTON, Ont. ??? Lawson Crouse had a goal and two assists to lead the Frontenacs over North Bay.

Conor McGlynn, Juho Lammikko and Cody Caron rounded out the attack for Kingston (10-5-2), which snapped a three-game skid.

Brett McKenzie scored in the second period for the Battalion (7-8-2).


RANGERS 3 67'S 1

OTTAWA ??? Mike Davies scored the first of three straight goals for Kitchener as it remained undefeated in regulation with a win over the 67's.

Ryan MacInnis and Mason Kohn had goals in the second period for the Rangers (13-0-3).

Stepan Falkovsky responded with a goal for Ottawa (10-7-1).



SUDBURY, Ont. ??? Justin Scott and Julius Nattinen scored in the third period as Barrie doubled up the Wolves.

Andrew Mangiapane and Roy Radke supplied the rest of the offence for the Colts (10-6-0).

Danny Desrochers and Alan Lyszczarczyk had goals for Sudbury (5-11-1).

Barrie's Brandon Prophet was ejected at 6:07 of the third period after a major penalty for a checking to the head.



SARNIA, Ont. ??? Ryan Moore scored the overtime winner as Flint ended a five-game losing streak with a victory over the Sting.

Francesco Vilardi and Will Bitten had goals in regulation for the Firebirds (6-8-1).

Troy Lajeunesse and Nikita Korostelev scored for Sarnia (9-5-2).



SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. ??? Bobby MacIntyre was one-of-three Greyhounds to have a goal and an assist as they edged Mississauga.

Boris Katchouk and Blake Speers had similar nights for Sault Ste. Marie (7-8-2) with Gabe Guertler also chipping in.

Daniel Muzito-Bagenda struck twice for the Steelheads (8-8-2) who also got a goal and an assist from Stefan LeBlanc.



OSHAWA, Ont. ??? Michael Dal Colle had a pair of goals as the Generals won their third straight by topping Hamilton.

Kenny Huether scored once and added an assist for Oshawa (9-7-2). Sullivan Sparkes, Matt Latin and Sam Harding rounded out the attack.

Stephen Harper had a hat trick with Trent Fox and Mason Marchment assisting on all three goals for the Bulldogs (6-10-0).
