KITCHENER, Ont. - Connor Bunnaman scored three goals to lead the Kitchener Rangers to their fourth straight victory, 5-2 over the Guelph Storm on Tuesday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Mason Kohn and Nick Magyar also scored for the Rangers (22-3-3), who had five straight goals before allowing the first Storm goal in the third period. Gustaf Franzen chipped in with two assists.
Givani Smith, on a power play, and Brock Philips replied for Guelph (2-25-1), which has lost 12 consecutive games.
Luke Opilka stopped 21 shots for the win. Just Nichols made 41 saves in the losing effort.
Kitchener was 2 for 5 on the power play while Guelph scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
