OHL Roundup: A look at Sunday's games @NHLdotcom

Mathew Campagna extended his point streak as the Sudbury Wolves held on to defeat the host Mississauga Steelheads 5-4 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Campagna scored once for the Wolves (18-16-7) and now has at least one point in 16 straight games, which is the longest streak for any player this season in the OHL. The 18-year-old forward has seven goals and 28 points during his run and 11 goals and 42 points in 40 games overall, which is second in team scoring behind Joshua Leivo.

Leivo, Dominik Kubalik and Nicholas Baptiste each had a goal and an assist for Sudbury, which has won seven of its last 10 games, and Franky Corrado added a single goal.

Leivo is on a hot streak of his own as he's recorded 21 points in his last 11 outings and leads his club with 19 goals and 44 points in just 34 games.

Stuart Percy scored a goal and added two assists for the Steelheads (20-14-3), who trailed 4-0 early in the third period, while Riley Brace had a goal and assist.

Josh Burnside and Spenser Cobbold rounded out the scoring for Mississauga, which scored four times in the final seven minutes of the game.

Joel Vienneau made 35 saves for the win as Tyson Teichmann stopped 23 shots in a losing cause.

Sudbury went 1 for 4 on the power play while Mississauga scored three times on five chances with the man advantage.

Elsewhere in the OHL, it was: Ottawa 6, Brampton 5 (SO); Kingston 4, Sault Ste. Marie 3 (SO); Sarnia 2, Niagara 1 (SO) and Saginaw 3, Guelph 2.

At Mississauga, Ont., Corrado opened the scoring with 53 seconds remaining in the first period and Leivo and Campagna scored 1:06 apart in the second period to give the Wolves a 3-0 lead after 40 minutes of action.

Baptiste made it 4-0 2:44 into the third period before Burnside finally put the Steelheads on the board at 12:44.

Kubalik restored Sudbury's four-goal lead, however Mississauaga made it close when they scored three times in under five minutes, including two goals in the final minute of the game.

Cobbold scored at 14:54, Brace at 19:01 and Percy at 19:34.

At Brampton, Ont., Cody Ceci scored once in regulation time and again in the shootout while Sean Monahan chipped in four assists as Ottawa (12-27-3) came back from two goals down to beat the Battalion (19-16-7), who are winless in three outings.


Frontenacs 4 Greyhounds 3 (SO)

At Kingston, Ont., Henri Ikonen scored the winning goal in the fourth round of the shootout and Mike Morrison made 43 saves as the Frontenacs (20-17-2) slipped past Sault Ste. Marie (20-18-3), which has dropped back-to-back contests.


Sting 2 IceDogs 1 (SO)

At St. Catharines, Ont., Reid Boucher and Charles Sarault both scored in the shootout and Knicholas Dawe stopped 23-of-24 shots as Sarnia (24-13-3) edged Niagara (22-16-3) for its fourth win in a row.


Spirit 3 Storm 2

At Saginaw, Mich., Garret Ross scored the winning goal with only 15 seconds remaining in regulation time and Darien Ekblad turned away 28-of-30 shots for his first OHL victory as the Spirit (17-19-5) beat Guelph (21-13-5), which is winless in three straight games.
