OHL Roundup: A look at Sunday's games @NHLdotcom

Changing jerseys has amplified Greg McKegg's production.

McKegg scored two goals, including the winner in overtime, and added an assist as the London Knights defeated his former club the Erie Otters 3-2 on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

After three seasons with Erie, McKegg was traded to London on Jan. 5 and he has scored 10 goals and 15 points in just eight games with his new club.

Austin Watson had a goal and an assist for the Knights (35-9-1), who won their fifth straight game.

Nick Betz and Luke Cairns scored a goal apiece for the Otters (5-36-4), who have now lost 11 in a row.

Michael Houser made 23 saves for his league-leading 33rd win of the season while Ramis Sadikov turned away 49 of 52 shots, earning the game's second star.

London went 0 for 2 on the power play as Erie failed to score on their only opportunity with the man advantage.

Elsewhere in the OHL, it was: Brampton 2, Sudbury 1; Guelph 3, Sarnia 1; Saginaw 3, Mississauga 1; Niagara 9, Peterborough 0; Ottawa 4 Kitchener 3; Windsor 3 Sault Ste. Marie 2; Kingston 3, Belleville 2 and Oshawa 3, Barrie 0.

At London, Ont., Watson scored the only goal of the first period, coming at 3:46, to give the Knights a 1-0 lead.

McKegg doubled London's lead 1:10 into the second period but Erie scored twice before the period was through to tie the game 2-2 after 40 minutes of play.

Cairns scored at 8:21 to put the Otters on the board and Betz followed him up at 13:28.

After a scoreless final period, McKegg scored his second of the game 40 seconds into overtime.

At Brampton, Ont., Ian Watters short-handed goal in the second period stood up as the game winner as the Battalion (26-11-9) edged Sudbury (24-16-3).


Storm 3 Sting 1

At Guelph, Ont., Francis Menard scored once and set up one more while Garret Sparks made 35 saves as the Storm (19-19-5) beat Sarnia (23-18-5).


Spirit 3 Majors 1

At Mississauga, Ont., Brandon Saad scored a goal and set up another as Saginaw (20-21-5) earned at least one point in its fifth straight game by defeating the Majors (21-19-6).


IceDogs 9 Petes 0

At St. Catharines, Ont., Mark Visentin made 21 saves for his fifth shutout of the season as Niagara (28-14-3) crushed Peterborough (21-19-6).


67's 4 Rangers 3

At Ottawa, Tyler Toffoli scored his league-leading 36th goal and added an assist as the 67's (29-11-5) won their fourth straight by defeating Kitchener (30-13-1).


Spitfires 3 Greyhounds 2

At Windsor, Ont., Jaroslav Pavelka made 32 saves, earning the game's first star, as the Spitfires (21-22-4) dealt Sault Ste. Marie (19-24-4) their fourth loss in a row.


Frontenacs 3 Bulls 2

At Kingston, Ont., Ryan Kujawinski scored twice, including the game winner, as the Frontenacs (13-29-4) halted their four-game losing streak with a win over Belleville (22-22-1).


Generals 3 Colts 0

At Oshawa, Ont., Andy Andreoff scored twice and added an assist while Kevin Bailie made 39 saves as the Generals (21-21-4) shutout Barrie (24-18-3).
