OHL: Cassels scores OT winner as Generals beat Otters for 3-1 series lead

ERIE, Pa. - Cole Cassels scored 8:19 into overtime to lift the Oshawa Generals to a 6-5 win over the Erie Otters on Wednesday in Game 4 of the Ontario Hockey League final.

Matt Mistele set up the overtime winner and had two goals in regulation for the Generals, who took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Josh Brown, Stephen Desrocher and Mitchell Vande Sompel also scored.

Connor McDavid scored one goal and set up three more for the Otters. Nicholas Baptiste, Dylan Strome and Darren Raddysh had a goal and a helper apiece and Jake Marchment rounded out the attack.

Oshawa goaltender Ken Appleby made 27 saves. Erie's Devin Williams stopped 23 shots in the losing effort.
