O'Brien scores shootout winner as Seattle downs Chilliwack 3-2 @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Jim O'Brien scored the only goal in the shootout to lift the Seattle Thunderbirds over the Chilliwack Bruins 3-2 on Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Lindsay Nielsen and Prab Rai scored in regulation for the Thunderbirds (7-10-1-1). David Robinson and Jeff Einhorn replied for Chilliwack (6-11-1-2).

Calvin Pickard made 22 saves and was perfect in the shootout for Seattle, while Bruins netminder Mark Friesen stopped 47 shots in a losing effort.
