SEATTLE, Wash. - Jim O'Brien and David Richard both scored twice to lead the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 6-3 win over the Kamloops Blazers on Wednesday.
With the win, Seattle (27-18-5-2) moved past Everett into fifth place in the Western Conference standings. Kenton Dulle opened the scoring for Kamloops (25-28-1-2) only 28 seconds into the game when he scored on the game's first shot.
Seattle answered with scores from O'Brien and David Richard later in the period to take the lead.
Greg Scott and O'Brien scored in the second period and Matt Wray answered for Kamloops. Sasha Golin cut the lead to 4-3 in the third period before Ian McKenzie and Richard scored to pout the game away.
