Nyquist-Cup 5-7

Hours before his Run for the Roses in the Kentucky Derby, Nyquist the horse received a visit from a high-profile trophy on Saturday.

The horse, owned by J. Paul Reddam and named after Detroit Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist, will run from the No. 13 post. He was the morning line favorite at 3-1.
Nyquist the horse actually defied superstition by touching the Stanley Cup:
