WINNIPEG - With teams ahead of them holding ground, it's make or break time as the Winnipeg Jets play the final three of a six-game homestand and try to nudge their way into a playoff spot.
Coach Claude Noel says it's an exciting time and a little snow that fell in Winnipeg is a good reminder it's still hockey season.
The Jets are preparing for the Tampa Bay Lightning, who visit Tuesday night.
Tampa has struggled which should be good news.
But forward Chris Thorburn says they can't take anyone for granted, no matter what their record.
He says the Jets have to keep it simple and stick to the formula that has helped them win their last three games.
