Nilsson, Oilers shut out Wild in Saskatoon @NHLdotcom

Anders Nilsson made 25 saves, and Connor McDavid had two assists for the Edmonton Oilers in a 3-0 preseason win against the Minnesota Wild at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Saturday.

McDavid, who did not play the prior two preseason games, had the secondary assist on a first-period goal by Anton Slepyshev and a third-period goal by Oscar Klefbom.

Rob Klinkhammer also scored in the third period.

Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper made 27 saves playing in his hometown. Erik Haula scored 24 seconds into a 3-on-3 overtime period for Minnesota.
