Nigro's shootout goal leads Storm to upset of OHL-leading Rangers @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Anthony Nigro scored the shootout winner as the Guelph Storm upset the league-leading Kitchener Rangers 2-1 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Kitchener (52-10-1-3) suffered its 14th loss of the season. The Rangers still lead the Eastern Conference by 19 points. Brandon Buck opened the scoring for Guelph (33-24-5-4) in the second period.

Nick Spaling tied the game with a power-play goal later in the period.

Thomas McCollum made 37 saves for the Storm. Josh Unice stopped 22 shots for the Rangers.
