Nigro scores twice as Guelph wins 4-1 against the Saginaw Spirit @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Anthony Nigro scored a pair as the Guelph Storm defeated the visiting Saginaw Spirit 4-1 Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.

Nigro opened the scoring midway through the first period and found the net again in the third for his sixth and seventh goals of the season. Peter Holland had a three-point game, with one goal and two assists, while Corey Syvret rounded out the scoring for the Storm (10-5-0-1).

Chris Chappell scored the lone goal for Saginaw (8-5-0-0).

Guelph netminder Thomas McCollum earned the win with 20 saves. Edward Pasquale stopped 20 shots in a losing effort for the Spirit.
