Niemi has winner as Saskatoon Blades drop Brandon Wheat Kings 6-4 @NHLdotcom

SASKATOON - Jyri Niemi had the power-play winner as the Saskatoon Blades dumped the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-4 in Western Hockey League play Saturday night.

Darian Dziurzynski had a goal and an assist for Saskatoon (41-14-6), while Derek Hulak, Marek Viedensky, Gaelan Patterson and Jeremy Boyer chimed in as well. Steven Stanford made 23 saves for the win.

Colby Robak, Brayden Schenn, Jordan Hale and Jay Fehr supplied the offence for Brandon (42-17-4). Andrew Hayes stopped 19 of 23 shots before being replaced by Jacob De Serres who saved two of three.
