BARRIE, Ont. - Mathew Sisca's goal with two seconds remaining in the second period ended up being the game-winner as the Niagara IceDogs fended off a third-period rally by the Barrie Colts to win 3-2 on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.
Niagara led 3-0 after the second period, but the Colts scored twice in the first half of the third and fired 11 shots on IceDogs netminder John Cullen in the final 20 minutes.
Alex Friesen and Chris DeSousa scored the other goals for Niagara (6-8-1-4).
Alex Hutchings and Stefan Della Rovere each had a goal and an assist for Barrie (7-8-1-0).
Cullen made 27 saves, while Colts goaltender Michael Hutchinson stopped 19 shots.
