-- They get one point against the Sabres AND the New Jersey Devils defeat the New York Islanders in any fashion (4 p.m. ET; TNT, SN360, SNW, SNP, NHL LIVE).
OR
-- The Devils defeat the Islanders in regulation
Western Conference
The Colorado Avalanche (idle) will clinch a playoff berth if:
-- The Vancouver Canucks defeat the Vegas Golden Knights in any fashion (7 p.m. ET; SNP, ATTSN-RM, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
