Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, all members of the hockey community have helped and continue to help those in need. In addition to NHL teams and players assisting communities, the League's corporate partners are also a big part of the relief effort. Over the coming weeks, we will continue to highlight the efforts of our valued Partners and will showcase how you can join them in their efforts to make a difference.


We've established the Chemours COVID-19 Community Fund to help protect the safety and health of our local communities across the globe. Whether that's funding safety education, procuring PPE for small businesses, purchasing fabric for local mask-making, or any number of other community needs-our commitment to our local communities remains steadfast. We're proud to play our part in the fight against COVID-19, one community, one family, one front-line worker at a time.

Danone donates chef-prepared meals to grocery workers. Via its OIKOS brand, the company has partnered with Montreal and Toronto chefs to support the culinary and grocery communities by providing chef-prepared takeout meals to grocery workers.


Continue to support our frontline workers and this month also celebrate love with Dunkin'! For all Pride e-gift cards purchased at between June 1-June 30, 2020, Dunkin' will donate $1 specifically to hunger relief for LGBTQ youth organizations through the Joy in Childhood Foundation. Rogers and Jays Care Foundation Step Up to the Plate for Food Banks Canada

Right now, Canada's food banks are in dire need of support. To reaffirm their support to Food Banks Canada, Rogers has partnered with the Jays Care Foundation by offering their home- Rogers Centre-as a place to store pallets of food, volunteer their time filling hampers, and tap into their mobile retail team, delivering 8 million meals to Canadians across the country. #ForwardTogether.

Samuel Adams

Samuel Adams got its start in the beloved bars and restaurants of Boston over 35 years ago. Today, we're proud to support the restaurant community most vulnerable to Covid-19 closures through the Restaurant Strong Fund, raising and distributing over $3Million in the form of valuable grants to those in need to date.

Breakfast club of Canada has set up an emergency fund to support breakfast program enrollees and local community organizations that assist food-insecure families and children throughout Canada during the COVID-19 crisis. Danone Canada has contributed $200,000 to the fund, along with over 35,000 products.


Honda has begun producing and delivering critical components for the production of much-needed ventilators to Dynaflo Inc. of Reading, Penn. Honda teamed up with Dynaflo to increase Dynaflo's production of diaphragm compressors, a key component of portable ventilators that are used in hospitals and by first responders to help those stricken with the COVID-19 virus. The companies are aiming to produce 10,000 compressors per month once production reaches capacity. Honda and Dynaflo expect to maintain production of compressors through the end of August.

Kraft Heinz 

As one of the world's largest food companies, The Kraft Heinz Company takes seriously its role in feeding consumers and their families. As the world continue to address the very real implications of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Kraft Heinz - which is co-headquartered in Chicago and Pittsburgh - has committed to donating $12 million globally to ensure people across the globe have the food they need during this challenging time. As part of this international commitment, the company has announced a donation valued at $6.6 million to help ensure American consumers in need have the food they need during this challenging time. The company is giving $1.9 million in cash to Feeding America®, the largest domestic hunger relief organization in the United States, to help support food banks located in and near places where the company has offices and plants, such as the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Kraft Heinz also is donating $4.7 million in products, including Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, Heinz Gravy, Planters Nut Mixes, DEVOUR frozen meals, and a number of other items, which will be provided to Feeding America member food banks.

Molson Coors 

In celebration of Nurses Week, Molson Coors in Canada is giving thanks to those working so courageously in frontline healthcare. They're donating 20,000 meals to healthcare workers at six hospitals in the communities where they brew through SkipTheDishes. Canadians can also thank our country's heroes, and support the restaurant industry, by donating towards a meal today at this link.


In celebration of International Nurses Day and in support of our fearless frontline healthcare workers, Rogers Sports & Media launched the Hearts and Smiles campaign last week. By purchasing limited-edition Hearts and Smiles t-shirts and masks in outstanding numbers, Canadians helped Rogers Sports & Media raise over $1 million for The Frontline Fund. With the help of the company's cross-country media outlets, league partners, athletes and celebrities including Doug Gilmour, Morgan Reilly, Shayne Corson, Walter Gretzky and Natalie Spooner, the Hearts and Smiles campaign continues to raise awareness and funds for The Frontline Fund in support of 150+ hospital foundations. Over the last couple of weeks, long-time partner SAP joined up with the NHL, NHLPA and EVERFI to recognize the Most Valuable Teachers awarded through the Future Goals program. Finalists were treated to a surprise $50,000 donation from SAP to be used towards technology resources that support various STEM initiatives in their schools, and virtual celebrations for the teachers and their students with Bruins' Charlie Coyle, Flyers' James van Riemsdyk and Penguins' Bryan Rust. Great Clips 

Great Clips' #StayHomeHair campaign raises awareness of the Professional Beauty Association's COVID-19 Relief Fund. The PBA has now raised over $1 million and provided support to over 2,000 licensed beauty professionals. And the NHL and NHLPA have helped spread the word with at-home hair tutorials from a Great Clips stylist, featuring Brent Burns, James van Riemsdyk and their wives.

Kraft Heinz 

By donating 1 Million meals to Food Banks Canada, Kraft Heinz is taking action to help communities across Canada. Additionally, Kraft Heinz is proud to donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to help protect the frontline workers and volunteers who continue to serve over 650 food banks across Canada.

New Amsterdam Vodka 

New Amsterdam Vodka teamed up with Spittin' Chiclets and Barstool Sports to create the "Support Your Local Bartender" t-shirt. Together they sold almost 8,000 shirts with 100% of net proceeds going to support the United States Bartenders' Guild Foundation's Bartender Emergency Assistance Program. The total value of the donation is approximately $175k.

FanDuel Group recently partnered with Frontline Foods in the US and Meals for the NHS in the UK, two grassroots organizations that raise money from the community to pay local restaurants to prepare meals for the heroes responding to the COVID-19 crisis. Our $135,000 donation allowed Frontline Foods to purchase over 5,000 meals to deliver to frontline workers in the US and the UK. Frito-Lay has been working to create 3,000 new full-time jobs with benefits, donate over $15 million to relief efforts, provide 20 million meals to at-risk students and families, and fund mobile health clinics across the United States to provide COVID-19 screenings to the public

Nestlé Canada cares deeply for the communities in which it lives and operates and is proud to donate over $2 million in food donations to Food Banks Canada to help feed families and communities impacted by COVID-19. As part of a larger global initiative, Nestlé Canada will also donate $150,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to support its response to COVID-19. Additionally, as a Founding Partner of Kids Help Phone, Nestlé Canada has increased financial support to enhance the charity's capabilities with this new uncertain world.

Esso is proud to help fuel Canadian frontline health care workers. As a way to say Thank You for their continued efforts, Esso is distributing up to 2 million in free fuel to Canada's nurses, doctors, paramedics, hospital staff and other frontline health care workers.  


Honda has initiated a new effort to harness the helpful spirit of community in responding to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, including providing the most vulnerable with access to food and supporting healthcare workers on the frontline of this crisis. The effort is led by an initial $1 million pledge from Honda to food banks and meal programs across the United States, Canada and Mexico, donated to community organizations that address food insecurity. In addition to the pledge, the company also created a Special Matching Gift Program that enables Honda associates to make monetary donations to food programs in their local communities, with Honda matching up to $1,000 for each individual gift. Honda also donated over 200,000 Personal Protective Equipment items including gloves, face shields, N95 protective masks, half-mask respirators and other protective gear to healthcare providers and first responders. Honda is producing face shields for healthcare facilities and first responders and has begun assembling compressors for ventilators that will help victims of COVID-19.

To deliver critical nourishment to people when they need it most, Kellogg and its charitable funds have donated $10 million to date in food and funds to COVID-19 hunger relief efforts both in Canada - to Food Banks Canada and Breakfast Club of Canada - and around the world through their global Kellogg's® Better Days purpose platform.


MassMutual Foundation is pleased to announce that in response to the extended shutdown of our nation's schools, we are providing parents with direct access to FutureSmart and other real-world learning courses through our partnership with EVERFI. 

MGM Resorts 

MGM Resorts remains Focused on What Matters - embracing humanity, exemplifying inclusion and exhibiting compassion for those in our communities - through meal donations to local charities and delivering health and safety products. 

PPG Paints 

PPG and the PPG Foundation has contributed more than $1.5 million to organizations globally to support COVID-19 relief efforts. The company has also donated 290 gallons of anti-bacterial paint to Shanghai Tong Ren Hospital, and 80,000 masks to hospitals in Pittsburgh, New York, Cleveland, Detroit and Huntsville, Ala. We look forward to brighter, more colorful days ahead.


 Alongside MLSE, Scotiabank and a team of dedicated partners have teamed up to create a large-scale meal program to support and thank Toronto's frontline health workers and their families, and to protect the city's most vulnerable. Scotiabank Arena has been transformed into Toronto's largest kitchen, with the goal of preparing and delivering up to 10,000 meals a day day to local hospital frontline workers and community agencies. To add to that, Scotiabank has also opened its kitchen facilities as Scotia Plaza in Toronto to support this important initiative.

Kruger Products

Kruger Products is #RollingItForward by donating much-needed tissue products to Food Banks Canada and to frontline healthcare professionals at several hospitals in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. In addition, Kruger Products is making a financial contribution to support frontline healthcare workers. Kruger Products invites Canadians to join in on the giving and start #RollingItForward!


MassMutual launched MassMutual HealthBridge, which will provide free term life insurance to the brave and resilient frontline healthcare workers across Massachusetts and Connecticut risking their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. MassMutual is committed to its Live Mutual belief that we are all in this together and is offering no-cost policies of up to $25,000. 

PepsiCo (US)

PepsiCo is investing more than $45 million globally to fund vital support including protective gear for healthcare workers, testing and screening services, and is distributing more than 50 million nutritious meals to at-risk populations with food banks around the world as part of its #GiveMealsGiveHope initiative.

PepsiCo (CAN) 

As COVID-19 reduces access to food and other essential goods for Canadians, PepsiCo Canada and the company's philanthropic arm, The PepsiCo Foundation, have launched a number of initiatives to support Canadian communities.

Navy Federal Credit Union

To help Canadians and communities respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, Canadian Tire Corporation announced a $5 million Canadian Tire COVID-19 Response Fund to support healthcare and community workers at the frontline of relief and response efforts. The fund is comprised of two donations of $1 million each to the Canadian Red Cross and United Way Centraide Canada, as well as up to $3 million in personal protective equipment (PPE) and essential products from across Canadian Tire's family of companies.


We're all in this together which is why Dunkin' has delivered 40,000 gift cards to medical workers at 157 hospitals across the country, and counting. Molson Canadian

Molson is proud to support and compensate their essential workers during this time. They have increased wages by $5 for hourly staff and have created a new paid leave policy, increasing the hours for employees, while donating $1 million to the United States Bartenders Guild. 

In Canada, Molson Coors Canada and the Molson Foundation jointly donated $500,000 to the Centraide du Grand Montreal for local community relief, focusing on families, seniors, and others most in need. 

Focusing on local communities, they have also launched #VirtualHappyHour, encouraging and asking Canadians from Coast to Coast to "include/tag" their local establishment where they would have raised a Pint, and Molson will buy them a $25 gift card.

As "Canada's Family Grocery Store", Sobeys recognizes that family has never been more important. Proud to celebrate their teammates and the amazing efforts being made by all Canadians each day, Sobeys is encouraging everyone to share their family stories and celebrate our #OneBigFamily.

To help support and empower Sobeys leaders and staff to make a difference in their communities, Sobeys has established The Community Action Fund. With more than 1,500 grocery and pharmacy stores coast-to-coast, The Community Action Fund is making several daily donations to ensure that Sobeys, is able to support the communities, that continue to support them.

In addition to The Community Action Fund, Sobeys is proud to recognize the efforts of their incredible front line employees with the Hero Pay Program. Each team member will receive an additional $50 per week, and those who work more than 20 hours a week, will receive an additional $2 premium per hour for all hours worked over 20 hours. Sobeys has also made announcements that they are willing to hire those laid off by Cineplex Inc and Freshii Inc.
