NHL Network's On the Fly will take you around the League for six nights in a row to take a look at each division. The show will provide a look at what happened last year and what to expect this season.
The On the Fly previews open on Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET with a look at the Atlantic Division. That's followed by the Northeast Division on Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. ET; the Southeast on Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. ET; the Central Division on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. ET; the Northwest Division on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. ET; and finally, the Pacific Division on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. ET.
The NHL Network also spent the summer traveling with the Stanley Cup as it went to the hometowns of each of the champion Boston Bruins
. You can follow the Cup's travels on Oct. 3, 4 and 5, with a three-part series and a 60-minute wrapup.
On Oct. 6, viewers can kick off the season with NHL Network, which will have live coverage from Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto -- and Boston, where they'll raise the banner to celebrate last spring's Stanley Cup. With an evening of hockey plus musical performances out of Winnipeg, NHL Network will bring all of the excitement of opening night from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.
